CEO’s Message

Assalamualaikum and warm greetings from Malaysia Healthcare.

Malaysia Healthcare has been blazing down the road of success in the first quarter of the 2019, and our gears have only just warmed up! With our eyes firmly fixed on our goal for 25% growth this year, we set out to expand our reach further in our key focus markets.

The year started out with the MHX (Malaysia Healthcare Expo) in Jakarta and in Surabaya where we met health conscious Indonesian communities eager to snatch up available healthcare packages. Moving up north, in Shenzen, China, Malaysia Healthcare signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MJ Life to enhance our end-to-end service offerings. In Xiamen, Malaysia Healthcare offered one-on-one consultations, together with our elite facilities, and received an overwhelming response of aspiring parents hoping to have their dreams of having children come true.

In the wake of numerous lives being affected by non-communicable diseases, we kickstarted our 2019 campaign, Share My Experience to encourage people from across the globe to make the migration from reactive care to preventive care. How are we doing it? We are encouraging everyone to be superheroes by sharing your healthcare journey to inspire others to take better care of themselves! With non-communicable diseases on the rise and claiming many lives each year globally, we hope that sharing your healthcare journey experience can inspire others to make a change and save their lives!

All this brings us to 2020, where we hope to see empowered healthcare travellers take stock of Malaysia Healthcare’s quality service offerings and change their lifestyles for the better! We are less than a year away from Malaysia Year of Healthcare Travel 2020 (MYHT 2020), the nation’s first international healthcare travel campaign. MYHT 2020 aims to invite healthcare travellers to come Experience Malaysia Healthcare as they take a leap towards better health and a more holistic lifestyle.

Come August 2019, Malaysia Healthcare will be hosting the world’s first international medical travel media award and we are looking forward to awarding our inaugural winners. Back for the fourth year is insigHT 2019! Malaysia’s leading medical travel market intelligence conference this year is themed ‘Differentiation for Excellence’, and we will be graced by the presence of YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Finance Minister of Malaysia, at the conference. Join us at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 24th and 25th September 2019 to find out how Malaysia is prioritising Differentiation for Excellence towards becoming the leading global healthcare destination.

As we turn the page to the next quarter, we hope to forge more meaningful partnerships and propel Malaysia Healthcare further into the global frontier of healthcare travel. With trust as our anchor, we envision more support from partners and stakeholders as we aspire to host more healthcare travellers from across the world.
